According to Channel 7 sources, Link claimed that she impregnated herself with sperm allegedly passed to her by a male prisoner. However, Bareto has stated that her sister revealed being coerced by the guards to do so. The Miami-Dade Correctional Institution has denied any evidence of sexual abuse within the prison.
