ORLANDO, Fla. (WESH) – Miraculous news came to Orlando on Wednesday morning as Universal Studios announced new details about the highly anticipated “Harry Potter” themed world in its new park, Epic Universe.
The Magical World of Harry Potter and the Ministry of Magic
The fifth and final world in the Epic Universe, Harry Potter and the Ministry of Magic, is set to open in Orlando in 2025. This enchanting world will feature unique restaurants, shops, entertainment facilities, and groundbreaking rides, combining the 1920s Paris of the Fantastic Beasts films with the iconic British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series.
Universal Pictures has unveiled an exciting new attraction called Harry Potter and the Battle for the Ministry of Magic, promising a first-of-its-kind ride experience that builds on the theme park innovations Universal is known for. Guests will embark on a thrilling journey from magical Paris to the British Ministry of Magic, culminating in a chase with the notorious character, Dolores Umbridge.

In addition to the Ministry of Magic, Epic Universe invites guests to explore four additional worlds filled with adventure and excitement.
Paradise Park
Inspired by astronomy and mythology, Paradise Park boasts all-new attractions, dining options, and shopping experiences. From gentle horoscope carousels to high-speed starfall racing, this world offers something for visitors of all ages.
“Starfall Racers will be the most thrilling roller coaster experience in the Epic Universe, featuring unique moves like the Celestial Spin, creating an out-of-this-world adrenaline rush,” Universal Pictures stated.
Dark Universe
The Dark Universe will showcase Universal’s iconic monsters such as Frankenstein, the Mummy, and the Werewolf, in new attractions and merchandise. Guests can enjoy experiences like Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiments and Curse of the Werewolf, while also getting temporary tattoos to resemble their favorite screen monsters.
Super Nintendo World
Step into the world of Mario Kart and Donkey Kong in Super Nintendo World, where guests can immerse themselves in interactive games and entertainment rides. Divided into Super Mario World and Donkey Kong World, this section offers a playful experience with iconic Nintendo characters.
